About the Opportunity

DCG is looking fora full-time Project Managerbased inLangley, BC.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full lifecycle of construction projects while working closely with internal teams, site supervisors, and executive leadership to ensure successful outcomes.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for leading project planning, execution, and close-out while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders, managing budgets and schedules, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and managing safety and risk mitigation plans in coordination with the safety team
  • Coordinating and communicating project scope, schedules, contracts, and progress with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading project meetings, maintaining documentation, and overseeing financial tracking and cost controls
  • Managing pre-construction activities, construction operations, and project close-out requirements
  • Liaising with the Vice President and other leaders to ensure visibility on key project milestones and departmental performance
  • Identifying change order triggers and managing claims, dispute notices, and documentation
  • Mentoring project coordinators, supporting team development, and identifying training needs
  • Promoting a positive, proactive team culture that values initiative, communication, and integrity

About You

To qualify, you will needa degree or diploma in construction, project management, engineering, or a related field, along with5+ years of construction experienceand3+ years in administrative or coordination roles.A valid driver’s licenseandaccess to reliabletransportation for occasional site visits are alsorequired.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Proven knowledge of construction project lifecycles, scheduling, and budget control
  • Strong understanding of contract management and change order documentation
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholder communications
  • Familiarity with safety and risk management processes
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and support professional development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation systems
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and lead meetings, reporting, and cost reviews
