Brainhunter is currently seeking a Project Manager to work for our valued Financial Service Client. The position requires the successful candidate to be on-site 3 days a week in either Toronto, Winnipeg, or London.

Qualifications and Competencies :

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a technology delivery environment.
• Experience with insurance policy administration systems, such as Ingenium, and a strong knowledge of insurance products or wealth management.
• Experience delivering technology projects and strategy/governance initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge in managing multiple large, complex projects and teams.
• Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and apply creative problem-solving skills, aligned with organizational vision and values.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycles for multiple initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations.

Accountabilities :

• Lead large, high-risk, and complex projects by working with business and technology leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure project deliverables align with the business case, demonstrating both business and technical acumen.
• Mentor and coach less experienced Project Managers in project management methodologies and practices.
• Collaborate with the project sponsor and delivery leader to develop project charters, defining scope, objectives, approaches, success measures, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans.
• Create and manage integrated project plans, including cost estimates, budgets, and resource requirements, adapting planning methods as needed.
• Manage project budgets and costs, providing estimates and forecasts, and analyzing financial aspects like capitalization and expenses.
• Engage with governance stakeholders to ensure compliance with risk profiles, standards, and organizational governance processes.
• Conduct risk planning and analysis, including risk identification and response planning.
