Job summary

STEMCELL Technologies in Vancouver seeks a Project Manager, Clinical Programs, to lead and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects for the portfolio team. You will ensure deliverables are on time and on budget, communicating with staff, management, consultants and vendors to facilitate consensus and information sharing.

The role requires a bachelor’s or higher with 6–10 years (or 4–8 years for Master’s, 2–5 for PhD) of relevant experience in project management and stakeholder consultations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with 6–10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4–8 years, or PhD with 2–5 years.
  • Experience in project management and facilitating consultations with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Experience communicating and influencing within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
  • Computer literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications.

Responsibilities

  • Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and deliverables.
  • Execute the project plan according to methodologies, ensuring coordinated completion of components on time and on budget.
  • Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project.
  • Report regularly on project updates and risks, and execute plans to contain them.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels and inspire others to achieve goals through facilitation and effective communication.

As a Project Manager, Clinical Programs in the Research and Development department, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects for their portfolio team. The role ensures project deliverables are completed on time and on budget, and you will communicate and liaise with staff, management, consultants, and vendors to facilitate consensus, negotiation, and information sharing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and deliverables
  • Execute the project plan according to methodologies, ensuring coordinated completion of components on time and on budget

Benefits and Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges from $83,700.00 to $125,500.00, determined by experience, education, and job‑related skills. In addition to base salary, the company offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
