Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Agilus is looking for a polished and highly communicative Intermediate Project Manager to support initiatives within our one of our Banking client's Payments portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of project management experience, particularly in the Financial Services space, to grow their career while working on high-profile, fast-paced payments projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Business, Technology, and Vendor teams
  2. Track project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate appropriately and ensure mitigation plans are in place
  3. Help prepare documentation including status reports, meeting minutes, timelines, and stakeholder presentations
  4. Support delivery of key initiatives within the Payments portfolio, coordinating tasks, schedules, and deliverables
  5. Manage small to mid-sized workstreams with increasing autonomy and ownership
  6. Provide clear, concise project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  7. Partner closely with the Lead PM to ensure alignment across project goals and execution
Must have:
  1. 2–3 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking
  2. Strong understanding of payments systems and/or experience working on payments-related initiatives
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills — confident in preparing and delivering stakeholder updates
  4. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and proactively manage timelines and deliverables
