Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a client in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Technical / Development projects, particularly in the Wealth Management sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership to successfully deliver small to mid-size initiatives.
• Understand business needs for clients in Banking and Financial Services.
• Manage overall project planning and work estimates.
• Coordinate project teams and third-party vendors for project execution.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report variances.
• Act as the main point of contact and communicate project status to stakeholders, including executives.
• Prepare reports and presentations to share project updates.
• Identify and resolve issues during project execution.
• Assist with proposals and pre-sales activities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years of successfully delivering projects as a project manager.
• Bachelor's degree plus Project Management Certification (PMP) and/or Agile/Scaled Agile certification.
• Results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Proven project management skills, including experience delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Strong communication skills and experience communicating with senior business and technology executives.
• Track record of high customer satisfaction.
• Ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Financial Industry, preferably in wealth management or banking.
• Excellent written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
