TGS are working with a well-established M&E contractor has been delivering full mechanical and electrical building services for over four decades across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. With a proven track record in sectors such as data centres, logistics, pharmaceutical, industrial, healthcare, food, and high-end commercial builds, they’re known for delivering high-quality, large-scale projects from initial design through to installation and long-term maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll play a central role in leading mechanical works across major commercial or industrial projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending project start-up meetings and taking ownership of mechanical delivery
  • Reviewing project documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Collating and submitting technical documentation, ensuring approval and compliance
  • Managing labour allocation and tracking workforce progress
  • Creating and maintaining weekly project progress reports and variation tracking
  • Liaising with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination
  • Overseeing plant, equipment, and materials logistics on-site
  • Implementing and tracking construction and commissioning programmes
  • Leading site handovers and managing documentation and compliance processes
  • Scheduling subcontractor work to ensure alignment with project timelines
  • Attending internal and external meetings and actioning any key outcomes
  • Supporting innovation by communicating unique project findings back to the leadership team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrable success delivering large-scale commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong technical knowledge across mechanical systems and installation practices
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sub-contractors
  • Qualifications in Construction or Project Management (preferred)
  • Confident in managing teams and handling fast-paced project delivery
