Job summary

Lanthier Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The role focuses on subcontract negotiation, schedule development, and coordinating with clients and consultants to drive successful execution.

The ideal candidate has a Professional Engineer or equivalent degree, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Professional Engineer or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, or DEC in Construction Technology, or equivalent is required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar role is expected.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project; PlanGrid/Build is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and award subcontracts.
  • Review plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and various stakeholders.
  • Develop project schedules and execution timelines.
  • Manage and coordinate site personnel and project logistics.
  • Monitor and control budgets and change notices.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure proper project execution.
  • Lead site meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Follow up on and correct deficiencies.
  • Oversee the preparation of project close-out manuals with the administrative assistant.
