Your Role:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Pickering, Ontario office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, vendors and other project support staff/stakeholders.
  • Manage nuclear related projects. Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations
  • Monitors, tracks and controls project budget, schedule, and performance of projects
  • Identifies ways to improve project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership to the Project Team
  • Communicate project updates with client and other key stakeholders
  • Client delivery responsibility and establishing requirements as per procurement procedure
  • Assembles and leads meetings with project team members to communicate project scopes

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in engineering or technical degree/diploma is considered an asset. Other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience
  • 10+ years experience in project management experience that includes leading and managing large multidiscipline projects, or large single discipline projects
  • Working experience as a Project Manager on nuclear/power related projects is considered an asset
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) and/or PMP certification would be a strong asset
  • Strong client management skills required to address challenging client requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred.
  • Nuclear (OPG or Bruce Power) experience is considered an asset
  • Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets.
  • Coaching, professional service management, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Must be eligible to obtain security clearance

Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
