Job summary

Pi-square Technologies, a Michigan-headquartered automotive embedded engineering services company, seeks a senior engineer to lead end-to-end engine line projects in Ontario. You will design and document engine die-cast, machining, and assembly lines, develop pneumatic/hydraulic drawings, and create specifications.

You will coordinate with customers, suppliers, and global vendors, manage schedules and budgets, drive FAT/SAT, commissioning, and production trials, and rely on Catia v5, SolidWorks,

Qualifications

• 13–15 years of engineering experience in automotive embedded systems.
• Experience with engine die‑cast, machining, and assembly line equipment and specification documentation.
• Proficient in Catia v5, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of engine line projects.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and global vendors to ensure on‑time procurement and readiness.
• Drive FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials and launch support.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Years of Experience: 13~15 yrs

1. Has good understanding of Engine line
2. Experience in:
   a. Engine Die cast line equipments and specification document creation
   b. Engine Die cast machining line equipments and specification document creation
   c. Engine Assembly line equipments and specification document creation
   d. Pneumatic/Hydraulic drawings for the equipment functions
   e. Concept building using solidwork
3. Experience in taking design from concept through manufacturing and installation.
4. Able to perform basic engineering calculations to size machine components.
5. Able to analyze problems and implement improvements in existing designs and equipment.
6. Responsible for leading end-to-end execution.
7. Project management experience
8. Manage project schedules, budgets, resource planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
9. Coordinate with customer Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and global vendors to ensure on-time equipment procurement, installation, and production readiness
10. Drive FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials, and launch support activities.
11. SOFTWARES: Catia v5, Solidworks, AutoCAD (MUST), MS OFFICE (MUST)
12. Qualification:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
