About us
Trench Canada-Maybrook is looking for Project manager to support our Order Management Team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and will be responsible for managing the entire order life cycle. This includes preparing reports, overseeing milestones, and identifying risks and opportunities for all assigned orders. The order management specialist will review contracts, coordinate and communicate effectively, and take action between customers and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that contractual deadlines are met.
Your Tasks: - Definemilestones and deliverables for projects and ensure they are set clearly.
Monitorprojects to ensure that milestones are met and deliverables are completedon time. - Identifypotential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensuresmooth project execution.
- Leveragethe necessary team members to review design documentation, ensuringaccuracy, completeness, and quality. Seek resolution from the design teamas applicable to various project stages.
- Ensurethat all owner, client, and project policies, procedures, and standardsare adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboratewith various stakeholders and maintain proactive communication to ensureprojects remain on schedule or identify actions to recover from delays
- Providetechnical and commercial support in contract administration and projectmanagement for dry-type air core reactors and line traps for North Americaand other territories as needed.
- Prepare required contract documentation and processes, including updatingthe project progress database, warranty certificates, lien waivers, andschedules.
- Assistthe department manager with revenue forecast planning by providing thestatus of orders for the month and checking completion and materialavailability dates.
- Hostcustomer during factory visit

Requirements: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Order management or Project management with a customer focused mindset. Experience in the Energy Industry is preferred.
- Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Ageneral understanding of Incoterms, export controls, letters of credit andinternational contract processes would be an asset.
- Workingknowledge of energy transmission / distribution systems and documentation requirementfor energy Projects, specifically HVDC is preferred.
- Experienceworking with Office suite proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical and organizational skills necessary to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently, but also cooperatively and professionally with internal customers, Sales Agents and Management.
- Proficiencyin English is a must. Fluency in French is an asset but not a requirement.
