Job summary

SRL Contracting in Thunder Bay is seeking a Project Manager to lead residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will provide quotes, price estimates, and collaborate with the President to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction estimating, is proficient with HeavyBid and Bluebeam, and can negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors. In-person, full-time role based in Thunder Bay.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in the construction industry.
• Experience in construction estimating.
• Proficiency with HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Ability to accurately price construction projects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial construction projects from startup to completion.
• Provide detailed quotes for types of construction projects.
• Work directly with the President to lead and grow the company.
• Utilize HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other tools for accurate construction estimating.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed proposals outlining project scope, timeline, and pricing.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure cost estimates are competitive and up to date.

• Salary: $85,000 to $105,000, plus bonus
• Additional Pay: Bonus pay & Commission pay
