Job description

itec is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Project Manager to join our client for a long term contract! This person will manage the successful and on time launch of new and/or improved products meeting project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project planning & execution, including design, development, budget, feasibility, planning, scheduling, reporting, and managing the master launch for relevant assigned products.
• Actively participates in the engineering production runs and design reviews for new products to understand the product design, status and potential challenges.
• Ensures products are launched on time by thoroughly analyzing launch process, ensure system readiness and resource and component availability.
• Manage Project open issues list and works with department administrator and all stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of activities.
• Manage and actively participates in project milestone review meetings / provide input following standard Processes or best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Project Management role
• Engineering degree
• Minimum of 5 years in a production environment
• MS Office, MS Project experience
• Knowledge of Stage-Gate model is an asset
