Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee key initiatives within the project framework, ensuring alignment with the direction provided by program manager and other leaders.
• Establish and manage communication methods for tracking and reporting program performance, ensuring alignment with other functional departments and cohesive execution.
• Ensure that program management KPIs are aligned with overall management processes, delivering maximum value to customers efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and manage program performance reports, metrics, and dashboards. Coordinate with IT resources to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
• Lead communication and engagement efforts with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of program performance and objectives.
• Assist the program manager with various ad-hoc initiatives, providing additional support on strategic and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience, preferably in defense, design, or construction industries. Experience with large-scale contracts in the industrial sector is a plus.
• Strong expertise in core project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, cost forecasting, performance tracking, risk management, and lean methodologies.
• PMI Project Management certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Green / Black Belt) are also an asset.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.
• Must meet the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and hold or be able to obtain Canadian Government Security clearance.

Salary Range: $85-92k / year
