Job summary
A leading consulting firm in Fredericton is looking for a Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience in IT projects and a strong background in Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading cross-functional teams and facilitating project lifecycles using Azure DevOps. This is a hybrid role with a contract duration of 12 months with a possible extension.
Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience as a project manager in IT.
- 3 years of Agile full lifecycle delivery in the last 5 years.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams for 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT system development and support projects.
- Lead team activities and conduct retrospectives.

- Experience working as a Senior Agile IT Project Manager working in IT system development and support. 3 Years
- Experience working with and leading cross functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external resources and stakeholders. 5 Years
- Experience in change management activities - developing a plan outlining how the project organizational change will be managed. 2 Years
- Experience in cost estimating, resource planning, reporting and project time management skills. 5 Years
- Demonstrate knowledge of IT system concepts and how they impact business processes. 5 Years
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or PRINCE2 designation. Yes/No
- Experience as a project manager in life cycle delivery using Agile supported by Azure DevOps to lead team activities, such as daily standups, program increment (PI) planning, iteration/sprint planning, conducting retrospectives, administration of team backlogs, collaboration with product owners, and removal of impediments to success for the team. 2 Years
- Demonstrate use of effective communication and how it impacted project success.
