Job description

Recognizing the unique needs of each client, our construction estimating, scheduling and construction management professionals utilize extensive industry experience and diverse skills to deliver a broad spectrum of quality services and integrated solutions to our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time role in our office locations for Project Managers.

We offer a broad spectrum of services, including construction consulting and management, cost estimating, and schedule and delay consulting. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction consulting assignments covering these services. The Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct regular site visits, and interface with clients and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in managing a team of estimators in the development of conceptual level to highly detailed level estimates and construction audits in the resolution of claims in a wide ranging number of projects.Ideally the candidate should possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction quantity surveying, estimating and cost management functions, preferably with site-based experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Managing people, project finances and reports.
  • Understand construction design and layout plans, specifications, construction codes and standards.
  • Possess knowledge of current market conditions affecting the cost of construction, technological innovations, contractual obligations, material specifications, and regional variations affecting cost and supply of labour and materials.
  • Understand and conduct detail analysis and reconciliation of estimates and audit of project costs.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • A recognized technical qualification in the field of construction management, Engineering or related field.
  • MRICS, PQS, PMP, CIQS or similar professional qualification.
