Job Title: Junior Project Manager, long term contract
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
The Client: Valued Government of Canada client in the Defense space
Key Responsibilities
Replacement of legacy Air Traffic Infrastructure
- Plan and coordinate project management activities including financial planning and contracting aspects
- Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations, to provide management with updates on project progress.
- Formulate and track project plans by defining deliverables, identifying key milestones, reviewing project progress, and engaging in ongoing risk management.
What you must bring to this role
- Must have a University Degree from recognized Canadian University
- Must have minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience in the last seventy-two (72) months using records management software such as, but not limited to, Records Document and Information Management System (RDIMS), System Application & Products (SAP) and SharePoint.
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience in the last seventy-two (72) months in maintaining, updating, reporting financial records and managing a budget in excess of $1.5M per year.
- Candidate must have Secret Clearance
- Must be comfortable with travel throughout Canada on a regular basis
