Job description

Who are we?

At Movemedical, we build the world’s most advanced enterprise SaaS platform for medical device supply chain automation and field inventory optimization. Our solution powers some of the largest medical device companies in the world.

We’ve achieved a strong product-market fit and are growing fast, onboarding enterprise clients and scaling our implementation practice. Our software changes the way healthcare works, and our people make that transformation possible.

We are team-oriented and want each other to be successful; we pull together to accomplish our goals. Glassdoor gives us a 4.3/5.0 and Inc. put us on its Best Places to Work Editor's List in 2019. Now, we’re looking for a Project Manager who’s ready to help us scale and deliver world-class implementations.

Who are you?

You’re a strategic executor who thrives on complexity and cross-functional collaboration. You’ve led large enterprise SaaS software implementations from kickoff to go-live. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, energized by ownership, process oriented yet flexible in your approach to ensure project success. You understand how to effectively manage client expectations and foster relationships.

You want to shape processes, influence outcomes, and work with people who are all-in on building something meaningful.

What will you do?

  • You will lead organized, effective project meetings with a clear agenda and actionable outcomes.

  • You will ensure that clients have a well-coordinated understanding of their responsibilities related to design, testing, change management, training, go-live, and hypercare activities.

  • You will work cross-functionally with internal team members responsible for design, configuration and testing of system functions to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables

  • You will plan project activities and ensure scope is clearly understood by both clients and internal development staff.

  • You will develop and maintain detailed project plans that assign clear ownership of all tasks and account for key dependencies.

  • You will clearly communicate and document project risks, assumptions, and dependencies to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will communicate and document scope changes and guide them through the appropriate change management workflow and set appropriate customer expectations on timing.

  • You will provide clear, complete project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will proactively identify and work with clients and internal teams to resolve potential or realized issues, escalating appropriately with clarity and a strong sense of urgency.

  • You will facilitate the request, approval, and documentation of scope changes and manage their impact on project timelines and budget.

  • You will ensure thorough documentation is captured and maintained throughout the project, including meeting notes, integration details, status updates, and schedules.

  • You will identify opportunities to improve project management templates, processes, and tools.

  • You will establish strong, collaborative relationships with both clients and internal project teams to build trust and ensure project success.

  • You will create and track client approvals for quotes related to change requests or support/maintenance enhancements.

  • You will work with customers and internal team members to identify and communicate project risks and mitigation plans to ensure your assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

What success looks like in your first year:

  • You’ve successfully delivered multiple enterprise SaaS projects for customers, on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • You earned positive client feedback on areas such as communication, ownership, organization and project leadership and secured at least one referenceable client or request for future project assignments.

  • You effectively manage scope, risk, and stakeholders proactively, with minimal controllable escalations.

  • You’ve contributed to the improvement of delivery processes, tools, and templates.

  • You build trust across internal teams and receive positive feedback for project leadership including engineering, product, and customer success.

What skills and experience do we expect you to have?

  • You have 5+ years of enterprise project management experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software implementations with external system integrations.

  • You have led multi-stakeholder, client-facing projects from planning through go-live, taking ownership of scope, risk, and delivery.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both with clients and cross-functional teams, and excel in negotiation and influencing decision making.

  • You’re well-versed in project management best practices and tools like Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.

  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective in remote, fast-paced environments.

  • Experience in healthcare, supply chain, or medical devices is a plus, but not required.

What character traits do we value?

  • You are a clear and influential communicator, able to lead meetings, manage escalations, and drive alignment.

  • You possess a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.

  • You are calm under pressure but visibly proactive and engaged.

  • You are adaptable, self-directed, and excited to build new systems and structures

  • You are resilient and emotionally intelligent.

  • You are a positive, collaborative project team leader who confidently navigates changing circumstances and overcomes challenges resulting in project success.

This position may not be a good fit for you if:

  • You’ve only worked on internal IT projects or minor implementations.

  • You were not the primary owner of delivery (e.g., only managed one workstream).

  • You need rigid structures and prescriptive processes to succeed.

  • You’re not comfortable in fast-moving, client-facing roles.

  • You're unable or unwilling to travel (role requires up to ~25% travel on an as-needed basis).

Benefits and Perks

  • Amazing team – Helpful, humble, and hungry to grow

  • Fitness stipend – We pay you to stay active

  • Home office stipend + monthly snack allowance

  • Comprehensive health benefits + 401(k) with match

  • Remote-first team with flexible hours

  • Opportunity to help shape delivery practices at a scaling SaaS company
