Overview

Location: Edmonton & Calgary

Job Purpose: Our Project Manager will report to the VP of Construction. They will be responsible for growing the revenue and profit of the organization through the full cycle of implementation to completion on all commercial projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget according to the contract, specifications, and scope of work.

Qualifications
  • Project Management experience in the commercial or retail petroleum construction industry
  • Proven, repeated, experience managing projects ranging from $3 – $20+ Million
  • Demonstrable knowledge of safety procedures and ability to implement onsite
  • Post-Secondary education in a relevant discipline
Responsibilities
  • To be accountable for completing projects on schedule and ensure project profitability
  • To manage and organize daily operations, prepare construction schedules and monitoring progress
  • To prepare detailed job cost and accurate forecasting reports
  • To prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, contracts, change orders, RFI’s
  • To build and maintain excellent direct relationships with owners, associated contractors and suppliers
  • To interpret and manage contractual obligations
  • To lead meetings to discuss progress, obstacles, and solutions and hold the parties accountable for results
  • To implement policies and procedures for quality control with a focus on continuous improvement
