Job description

MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Project Manager to work out of Calgary, AB with occasional travel to Banff and Canmore.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple active construction sites.

Lead cross-functional teams including site supers, project coordinators, and HSE staff to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with Alberta construction regulations.

Manage construction project software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project); support implementation and team adoption.

Maintain project documentation and report regularly to executive leadership.

Ensure strong safety performance and proactively manage project risks.

Qualifications

7+ years' experience in construction project management, ideally within multifamily residential.

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sites, preferably in Canmore, Calgary, or similar markets.

Strong leadership, financial, and organizational skills; self-starter who thrives in a low-oversight environment.

Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to Canmore / Banff.

Construction safety certification (e.g., NCSO, OSHA) and PMP designation are assets.
