A leading consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee infrastructure projects in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in project management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role offers a competitive pay range of CA$62.00 - CA$78.00 per hour and follows a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Base pay range

CA$62.00 / hr - CA$78.00 / hr

MatchBox consulting is on the hunt for a PCM Project Manager to work out of Burnaby, BC as a hybrid work model

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple medium to high-complexity infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk plans.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction managers, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Prepare reports, status updates, and project documentation.
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases.

Requirements

Minimum 9 years of project management experience in infrastructure or construction.

Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and risk mitigation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Solid communication skills with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and work with external stakeholders and permitting agencies.

Nice to Haves :

PMP or related project management certification

Familiarity with utility infrastructure or public sector capital projects

Understanding of permitting processes and environmental compliance in BC

Knowledge of Primavera P6, SharePoint, or similar platforms
