Who we're looking for:

Rogers is seeking aProject Manager with experience delivering a wide range of technology projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

These may include application development, system integrations, and next-generation Wireless, Wireline, or IT initiatives supporting strategic business and capital programs.

You will lead projects from initiation through to implementation and closure, ensuring delivery within scope, on time, on budget, and in alignment with Technology PMO standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage multiple medium-to-large, cross-functional projects (up to $5M) using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Lead end-to-end project execution for new services, platform upgrades, capacity expansions, and lifecycle changes.
  • Define and govern project scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to meet business objectives and in-service targets.
  • Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to align with financial goals.
  • Ensure channel readiness and seamless product/service launches that enhance customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders across Business, IT, and Network teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to sponsors and senior leadership.
  • Manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery of contracted goods and services.

What you bring:

  • 10 years of project management experience, ideally in Telecom or IT, with full lifecycle delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (PMP preferred; CSM, ITIL/ITSM certifications are assets).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and experience managing technical, financial, and administrative aspects of projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, MS Office, SharePoint, Oracle, and BI tools.
  • Advanced skills in project financial forecasting and cost management.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business writing skills, with the ability to engage senior and executive leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
