Base pay range

CA$60,000.00 / yr - CA$75,000.00 / yr

This is a role for someone who takes ownership of every phase of a project and thrives on collaboration while being accountable for successful outcomes. Your ability to navigate challenges and maintain excellent customer relations will be crucial as you work closely with a team of talented individuals to deliver exceptional results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership : Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery, cost control, and most importantly, outstanding customer relations.
  • Client Collaboration : Work directly with Sales and Clients to understand project criteria and ensure alignment on objectives and expectations.
  • Deadline Management : Assess critical project timelines and regulatory requirements, ensuring lead times and milestones are met.
  • Documentation : Prepare and acquire all necessary documentation to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and anomalies, proactively addressing them to prevent delays or issues.
  • Client Communication : Provide weekly project status updates to clients, ensuring transparency and building trust.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously refine and update project procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.

What You Bring

  • Education & Certification : Post-secondary certificate / diploma in a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
  • Experience : 5+ years in construction or manufacturing project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with excellent documentation skills to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Planning & Budgeting : Extensive experience with planning, forecasting, and budgeting projects to meet objectives on time and within financial constraints.
  • Technical Knowledge : Ability to read and interpret shop drawings / blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of project details.
  • Problem-Solving : Well-developed technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to handle challenges and maintain momentum.
  • Collaboration : A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients / stakeholders.
  • Leadership : Confidence to represent the company and effectively communicate with individuals at all technical levels.
