Overview

We are seeking a Project Management Specialist to join the Joint Venture Projects Support Division (JVPS) under the Fuels Strategy & Capital Planning Department (FS&CPD). This division is responsible for providing oversight and support to Aramco affiliates' projects within Downstream Fuels portfolios. This includes providing an independent view to decision makers on project progress, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending corrective actions.

Your primary role is to lead and conduct project execution capability assessments or project health check assessments to identify gaps that will impact project execution. You will also provide project management consultations to project teams as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project execution capability assessments or project health check assessments for joint venture projects and present the outcomes to the project sponsor.
  • Analyze project performance and present results to the project team and project sponsor.
  • Prepare reports to analyze project progress in development or execution stages.
  • Facilitate project risk analysis.
  • Collect and analyze project lessons learned.
  • Support project teams by providing consultation in project management best practices and procedures.
  • Review and analyze project economics, governance, organization setup, execution strategy, cost estimating, scheduling, contracting, procurements, and risk management.
  • Provide support to develop the business plan, project feasibility study, and project technical development.
  • Analyze claims and advise on negotiation strategies.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized and approved program. A Master's degree in engineering is preferred.
  • 15 years of work experience in project management, including at least 10 years as a project or construction engineer.
  • PMP certificate from Project Management Institute (or equivalent).
  • Experience in mega projects for refineries, petrochemicals, or infrastructure industries.
  • Experience in developing project scope, project schedule, and cost estimates.
  • Experience and knowledge in modularization and stick-built construction processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in project engineering practices, governance, bid evaluation, cost estimating, planning, scheduling, and technical development.
  • Ability to work in an international business environment and cross-cultural professional settings.
  • Professional level proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Power BI.
  • Strong presentation skills and efficient communication are necessary.
