We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist (SPOC Support) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialist project management expertise to support the coordination of organizational interfaces and requirements, particularly in the context of large international airport projects.

This role will be based in Toronto, ON.

Your role within the team:

1. Provide specialist project management expertise to support the coordination of organizational interfaces and requirements.
2. Work collaboratively alongside the airport departments to mitigate impacts and advance opportunities from the LIFT Program and effectively meet departmental requirements.
3. Synthesize and translate technical information (related to LIFT milestones and core programs) for specific business units, identifying stakeholder engagement and communications imperatives/opportunities.
4. Interface with various internal and external stakeholder groups to align the necessary consultations and approvals.
5. Work collaboratively with the wider program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals as required.
6. Provide updates and reports via the Delivery Cabinet and the Interface Management Group to effectively communicate interface risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

1. Minimum 10 years experience in project/program management and 5 years in large international airport projects and infrastructure programs.
2. Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
3. Demonstrated expertise in project management and/or applicable technical areas to deliver complex projects.
4. Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs, including managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision making.
5. Strong ability to analyze and synthesize technical information for specific stakeholder audiences, identifying stakeholder engagement and communications imperatives/opportunities.
6. Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects.
