Job summary

F12.net is seeking a seasoned PMO Manager to establish and continuously improve the enterprise PMO framework. You will govern project delivery, define standards, and drive governance across portfolios and strategic initiatives.

You will partner with senior leadership to align priorities, manage intake and prioritization, and deliver executive-level reporting and decision support. This role demands strong leadership, communication, and Lean process capabilities in a fast-paced IT services

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, Administration, or a related field.
• PMI certification and formal PM training are required.
• Experience leading PMOs in multi-engagement environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Position:

The PMO Manager is responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving F12's enterprise project and strategic initiative management framework. This role ensures consistent execution, visibility, accountability, and value realization across both traditional project portfolios and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

This position works closely with senior leadership, business unit leaders, functional leaders, project managers, and strategic initiative owners to ensure organizational priorities are effectively planned, monitored, governed, and delivered.

Responsibilities

Project Management Office Framework Development

• Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization's project delivery framework.
• Establish standardized project management methodologies.
• Create and maintain the PMO playbook, including processes, governance standards, roles, responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
• Define project classification matrices with corresponding governance requirements.
• Develop and maintain a project management knowledge base and repository of standards, templates and best practices.

Enterprise PMO Leadership & Governance

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Enterprise PMO.
• Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise project governance frameworks.
• Establish standards, policies, templates, stage-gate processes, and delivery methodologies.
• Ensure project and strategic initiative compliance with governance requirements.
• Facilitate governance reviews, steering committees, and executive portfolio meetings.
• Maintain organizational project management maturity standards.
• Develop and manage enterprise project intake and prioritization processes.

Strategic Initiative Management (ePMO)

• Oversee governance and execution visibility for enterprise strategic initiatives.
• Partner with executive sponsors to define success criteria, milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization plans.
• Track enterprise initiatives from ideation through execution and realization.
• Monitor cross-functional dependencies impacting strategic outcomes.
• Ensure strategic initiatives remain aligned with corporate objectives and annual operating plans.
• Escalate risks and issues impacting organizational priorities.
• Facilitate executive decision-making by providing clear status and recommendations.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify opportunities to improve organizational execution effectiveness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and operational processes.
• Standardize business processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Implement best practices for project management, governance, reporting, and operational execution.
• Facilitate process mapping, workflow design, and process optimization activities.
• Measure and report on process improvement outcomes and benefits realization.
• Drive adoption of lean, efficient, and scalable operational practices.

Executive Reporting & Decision Support

• Develop executive dashboards and portfolio reporting.
• Create meaningful KPIs and performance metrics for projects and strategic initiatives.
• Produce monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews.
• Prepare executive summaries for leadership and steering committees.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
• Ensure visibility into risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and strategic progress.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Establish enterprise risk and issue management processes.
• Maintain enterprise risk registers for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure effective escalation pathways are followed.
• Oversee change control practices for significant initiatives.
• Support organizational change management planning and execution.

Requirements

• Experience building and managing a PMO, preferably in an IT Managed Services environment where project delivery requirements span multiple engagements and client accounts.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Administration, or a related field
• A minimum of five years' experience in the industry
• PMP / PMI Certification is required.
• Formal training/certification in Project Management
• Experience in Lean Process Methodology
