YOUR ROLE

The position holder is responsible for the consistency and compliance of project management processes across the PMO, which influences various business units, offices, and the company’s center of expertise. The PMO Manager mobilizes and supports the training of project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and smooth execution of internal and external operations and assignments. They propose improvements to project management for business units. They ensure the effective integration of project management experts and actively contribute to their ongoing training. They work closely with various stakeholders (Moment Factory School, the Original and Custom Experiences teams, the Center of Expertise, and international offices) to ensure transparency and to seek common solutions to global challenges.

Your Responsabilities

  • Participate in developing, approving, and implementing administrative and operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of resources (project managers and coordinators) across business units;
  • Help define project management best practices and related systems, mobilizing resources to implement these practices to optimize project management processes at Moment Factory;
  • Lead the project management community of practice (Project Managers and Coordinators);
  • Collaborate on improving tools and processes for evaluating and validating development proposals (Confetti Book, Internal Gates, Pipedrive, etc.);
  • Ensure project management activities align with the strategic plan and priorities of Moment Factory;
  • Supervise coordination and assignment (casting) activities and team;
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing tools for tracking and communicating project performance (dashboards);
  • Actively participate in onboarding, integrating, and training all new project management hires;
  • Propose and develop training with Moment Factory School tailored to personal and corporate needs;
  • Suggest ways to stimulate and optimize the achievement of annual goals; recommend skill development plans if necessary;
  • Assist in managing the career development of project managers;
  • Act as an ambassador promoting project management practices within the company; maintain a pool of diverse, versatile, and inventive talent, and take a proactive approach to the recruitment needs of business units;
  • Work closely with project leads to ensure smooth and consistent management of project production and communication across departments;
  • Contribute to annual check-ins for all project managers and coordinators.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to the role: project management, arts, design, architecture, scenography, or multimedia environment;
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience in project management, ideally in a creative environment in the entertainment, multimedia, or related content and technology industries;
  • Proven experience leading, supervising, and motivating a multidisciplinary team;
  • Knowledge of all stages of multimedia production and a solid understanding of multimedia technology (sound, lighting, projection, video, scenography);
  • Experience in interactive production is an asset;
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, etc.) and various project management software (Smartsheet, Trello, Confluence, etc.), with Wrike being a significant asset;
  • PMP certification is an asset.
