Job summary

The National Research Council Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support the Project Management team. The PMC will enter and maintain project data in SAP PS, prepare status reports, and assist with procurement activities to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have college degree and experience in project management, familiarity with SAP PS, MS Office and MS Teams; PMP/CAPM is an asset. A Secret Clearance may be required; hybrid arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting project management tasks.
• Knowledge of procurement strategies, processes and coordination systems.
• Ability to read and interpret project and financial data.
• Experience with preparing project status reports.
• SAP Project Systems experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support program/project management activities by working closely with project managers.
• Assist with procurement activities and coordination of contracts and equipment.
• Enter, adjust and maintain project data in SAP PS to ensure accurate status.
• Prepare status reports at team and program levels for informed decision making.
