Primary Role of This Position

The Project Coordinator role supports the Project Management Office in various administrative and operational tasks. The role will contribute to project planning, monitoring and reporting to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate various events in terms of invitation, equipment, catering, and other logistics
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes and RAID log
  • Participate in PMO and business meetings and provide administrative support for recordkeeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines and milestones.
  • Validate project reporting before advising project managers and sponsors
  • Compile data and generate regular reports for project stakeholders

Education and Experience
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business and/or project management, with 1-3 years’ equivalent work experience, including co-ops or work terms
  • Certifications in technology-related and project management disciplines is an asset
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, Working knowledge of MS Project
  • Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and steering committee an asset

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment
