National Research Council Canada (NRC) is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support the Automotive and Surface Transportation Research Centre. The coordinator will work closely with project managers, R&D directors, program managers and senior project managers to ensure projects are tracked and managed efficiently using standard practices, systems and tools.

We are looking for a Project Management Coordinator to support our Automotive and Surface Transportation (AST) Research Centre. The Project and Program Management Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The coordinator is responsible for supporting project management activities by working closely with project managers, R-D directors, program managers and senior project managers, and providing expertise on practices, systems and tools in order to ensure projects are tracked and managed efficiently.
More specifically, the incumbent opens, maintains and closes projects in SAP, oversees project and program management as well as their performance (tracking and reporting) and ensures the rigor of operational practices, systems, tools and data related to projects.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
College diploma with courses in project management or a field relevant to the position.
An equivalent combination of work-related experience, formal training and education would also be considered.

* Significant experience is defined as two (2) to six (6) years of experience.
