Qualifications

  • Bilingual in French and English is Mandatory.
  • Familiarity with heavy lift and out-of-gauge shipments.

You will oversee day-to-day operations for industrial customers of the Project Logistics department. You will also provide operational coordination for turn key EPC projects, project accounts and specialized one off special cargo movements

How you create impact
  • Coordinating the movement of goods, including heavy lift and oversized cargo, via various modes of transport like air and sea
  • Providing excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing complaints, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in all relevant systems, ensuring data quality, and producing timely documentation to meet project and shipment requirements
  • Ensuring the profitability of orders, managing correct invoicing, and adhering to established customer SOPs
  • Identifying and resolving issues, taking corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences, and reporting incidents and hazards
  • Adhering to company policies, working instructions, and compliance standards, and reporting on operational performance
  • Preparing quotations, supporting commercial activities, and actively participating in tender processes
  • Fostering strong relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Select and qualify vendors by following all QHSE vendor requirements and processes
  • Promote and sell transport insurance to customers when requiredBook supplier invoices and prepare customer invoices and ensure on-time file closure for month end financial ledger closing

What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Freight forwarding managing Ocean Shipments
  • Bilingual in French and English is Mandatory
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with handling various types of cargo, including heavy lift and out-of-gauge shipments
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
