BBA Consultants seeks a Project Leader in electrical engineering and automation to drive complex industrial projects from initiation to delivery. You will manage client relations, budgets, schedules, and project teams across multiple sites in Quebec, ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop work methods, and contribute to proposals while coordinating with offices in Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Val-d’Or to expand our client base and project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• 5–12 years of experience in project management, electrical engineering and automation.
• Willing to travel between Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Val-d’Or offices.
• Strong English and French skills for collaboration with offices and clients.

Responsabilités

• Be responsible for client relationships and the quality of professional services delivered.
• Ensure work complies with budgets, estimates, procedures and schedules.
• Plan, organize, lead, and coordinate projects.
• Contribute to electrical engineering projects for industrial clients.

• Conduct technical field surveys and site assessments.
• Mentor, support, and train junior engineers under your supervision.

• From 5 and 12years of relevant experience in project management, electrical engineering and automation
  
• Available to travel between our Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Val-d’Or offices
  
• Available for short-term (required) and long-term (asset) assignments outside BBA offices
  
• In-depth knowledge of electrical installation safety
  
• Thorough knowledge of MV and HV equipment and switchgear
• Intermediate knowledge of workplace safety (workers’ compensation) and site monitoring
  
• Knowledge of power flow and short-circuit studies, protection coordination and arc-flash hazard analysis
  
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Project, Excel)
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
  
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
  
• Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French
