Job summary

BBA Consultants seeks a Project Leader - Engineering to manage electrical engineering projects, nurture client relationships, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in Abitibi. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, and field surveys while mentoring junior engineers and upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Automation, Electrical or other disciplines).
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• 5–12 years of relevant experience in project management, site work or heavy industrial sector.
• Available to travel between Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Val-d’Or offices.
• Advanced English and French skills for collaboration across offices and clients.
• Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French.

• Contribute to and execute electrical engineering projects for clients in the industrial sector.

• Available for short-term (required) and long-term (asset) assignments outside BBA offices
• Knowledge of workplace safety (workers’ compensation) and site monitoring
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Project, Excel)
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French
