About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Clinical Transformation, the Project Leader will provide leadership on operational design, strategic planning, customer service, analytical reporting, performance measurement, standardization, training, and risk management. The role involves working autonomously with the Clinical Transformation team and stakeholders to improve and sustain transformation activities focusing on safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Planning and System Performance: Lead development and execution of strategic, operational, and frontline plans supporting NSHA’s strategic goals, emphasizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Transformation Team to set portfolio goals aligned with NSHA and the Health Transformation Office. Escalate issues impacting safety or quality of care.
  2. Quality Service Delivery: Assess transformation activities via analytical reports, recommend and implement service improvements, and develop provincial policies and processes with stakeholders.
  3. Engagement, Leadership, and Partnerships: Understand customer needs, lead group discussions and training, and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Lean certification preferred.
  • Change management experience preferred.
  • Healthcare systems knowledge preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in customer service, healthcare informatics experience an asset.
  • Effective communication skills across disciplines.
  • Experience managing complex projects and organizational change.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, cultural competence, and social inclusion awareness.
  • Innovative problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and Microsoft Publisher knowledge an asset.
  • Analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Hours and Compensation
  • Full-time, 75 hours biweekly, approximately 18 months (May 2025 - Dec 2026).
  • Flexible hours, Monday - Friday, work from home options available.
  • Hourly rate: $40.95 - $51.19.
