Qualifications

  • Arbeiten an mehreren Standorten in Forest und Kettle & Stony Point.

Job description

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is a community governed health centre serving identified priority populations in a defined catchment area. The Centre operates multiple sites in Forest, Kettle & Stony Point, Watford, and Sarnia, Ontario. Our interdisciplinary team provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services.

As part of the Inspire Youth Project, funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the North Lambton Community Health Centre, in partnership with Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, requires a Program Leader until March 31, 2026:

(1) Project Leader – 37.5 hours/week

The Project Leader is designed to engage youth ages 12-18 years of age in a variety of life and skill building activities. The project will be offered in Forest for all youth, Forest for youth who identify as 2SLGBTQAI+, and youth in Kettle & Stony Point.

Qualifications

· A Degree or Diploma in Health Promotion or Child and Youth Worker or Early Childhood Educator, or a related discipline.

· Experience facilitating programs for youth aged 12-18.

· Strong communication and group facilitation skills.

· Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher.

· A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Flexible hours of work are required for all positions. The incumbent will be required to work at both locations.
