Magna IV Engineering, A Sunbelt Solomon Company, invites applications for a Project Lead - Field Services in Calgary, AB. You will manage field service projects, build client relationships, and expand our service portfolio with hands-on leadership on site.

The role requires 3+ years of electrical field experience, strong project leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality. Flexible shifts with on-site work are expected as projects require.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical field experience (technologist, technician, power engineer).
• Hands-on field experience commissioning, testing or maintaining power delivery equipment (breakers, switchgear, relays, transformers).
• Proven experience leading engaged and productive project teams.
• Ability to self-manage with a client focus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office applications.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage field service projects and provide project status updates to Managers.
• Provide feedback to Managers on project execution and onsite employee performance.
• Develop client relationships through site interface.
• Identify service opportunities for clients and communicate them to Managers.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are available for projects.
• On site, hands-on work, as required.
• Develop site strategy and adjust timelines.
• Demonstrate leadership for safety on site and uphold quality reviews.
• Responsible for site quality and document reviews.
• Follow-up on deficiency work and ensure documentation is complete.
• Complete technical reviews and generate reports.
• Support invoicing to ensure inclusion of applicable extras for work performed.
• Integrate junior employees into projects in a safe manner.
• Lead, mentor and develop employees.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Lead - Field Services in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be expected to manage field service projects, build client relationships and expand our portfolio of business.

• Lead, mentor and develop employees

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Technologist / Field Technician / Power System Electrician / Electrical Engineer
• Hands-on field experience commissioning, testing or maintaining power delivery equipment, including breakers, switchgear, relays, transformers.
• Proven experience leading engaged and productive project teams
• Ability to self-manage with proven initiative and client focus
• Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent time management skills with an attention to detail
• The ability to work flexible shifts, which include weekends, evenings and statutory holidays
• Must have a valid driver’s license
