The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Brigden, ON. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and civil construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, analyzing project scopes, soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotes, and developing competitive bids and budgets. The Project Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, and field teams to clarify technical requirements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support change orders and project updates. The role also involves maintaining accurate estimate documentation, supporting forecast and cost tracking, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.
