Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a 16-month Project Engineering Co-op in Waterdown, Ontario to support production and service teams on WESCAM products. You will help develop and repair systems, participate in upgrade planning, and contribute to technical documentation and verification activities.

The role targets students enrolled in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering programs with interest in optical, electronic and mechanical subsystems, and a strong emphasis on collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems, optic or laser devices is an asset.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or other design tools.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Action-oriented and quick-responding.
• Able to balance multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and organization skills.

As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. About the Role

This is a 16 month co-op term (with 12 month terms occasionally available). You will get to work within the Project Engineering team, offering engineering support to the production and service teams to develop and repair Wescam Products.

Required Capabilities
