RVA’s Fredericton / Halifax office is seeking an Intermediate Municipal Project Engineer to join the team. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Duties:
  • Collaborate with Civil Engineers and project team members as part of an integrated project team.
  • Prepare preliminary and final designs for site layouts, infrastructure renewal, stormwater projects, culverts, watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, grading, and pump station designs.
  • Coordinate approvals, tender documents, cost estimates, contracts, reports, including sealing documents.
  • Edit and prepare AutoCAD and Civil 3D design drawings as needed.
  • Manage engineering and contract administration for municipal projects, including site development, roads, watermains, and sewer systems across municipal, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate for the position.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Municipal Engineering; consultancy experience preferred.
  • REVIT experience is an asset.
  • Valid P. Eng. designation in New Brunswick and/or Nova Scotia, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain positive client and team relationships.
  • Experience in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and consulting skills.
  • Construction administration experience is an asset.
  • Proven report writing and technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.
  • Valid driver's license required.
