Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer with 2-5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing. The role involves managing multiple projects, following best project management practices, and streamlining processes.

• Support and assist senior engineers with project initiatives, including equipment capabilities, utility requirements, and process flow diagrams.
• Lead installation activities, manage contractors, and enforce safety measures.
• Support start-up teams and troubleshoot issues, working with vendors as needed.
• Assist in developing validation and testing documents.
• Develop project plans, track milestones, and manage risks and changes per best practices.
• Ensure compliance with CFIA, FDA, USDA standards, and GMPs.
• Build relationships with leadership, prepare reports, and present findings.
• Gather and analyze project data and metrics.
• Work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and deadlines.
• Qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering, P.Eng or in progress.
• Proven leadership in managing multiple projects, results-oriented, detail-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Additional duties as assigned, with awareness of budget and schedule constraints.
