Job description

CIMCO is interested in speaking with all Bilingual (French) Project Engineers / Technologists with refrigeration experience to expand our engineering department in Montreal.

Role Responsibilities

1. Reporting to the Eastern Canada Engineering Manager, this role contributes to:
2. The development and design of industrial refrigeration systems
3. The drawing of mechanical and/or electrical systems
4. Carrying out surveys
5. The purchase of equipment, materials, and the tracking of orders
6. The preparation of 'For Coordination', 'For Construction', and 'As Built' plans
7. The preparation of instruction and operation manuals
8. Monitoring work on the site(s)

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (building, construction, or energy division) or D.E.C. in building mechanics with relevant experience
2. 3-5 years or more of experience (depending on training received)
3. Fresh graduates may be considered based on experience
4. Fluent in French, both spoken and written
5. Training and/or experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling)
6. Proficiency with microcomputers
7. English spoken and written is an asset
8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
9. Knowledge of industrial refrigeration; screw compressors, NH3, CO2 is an asset
10. Knowledge of the SAP platform is an asset
