Could you be the full-time hybrid Project Director - Rolling Stock (Rail) in Saint-Bruno, QC, CA we’re looking for? (location is negotiable to La Pocatiere, Kingston, Toronto, Vancouver)

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll lead the successful delivery of complex rail projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, procurement, and operations), oversee project risks and opportunities, and manage customer interfaces, and much more.

We'll look to you for:

  • Leading the Project Core Team to deliver tasks within schedule, budget, and quality requirements,
  • Developing and managing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Detailed Project Schedule,
  • Acting as the primary Customer Interface to ensure alignment and satisfaction,
  • Overseeing Project Risk, Opportunity, and Improvement Management,
  • Driving Project Launch, Change Management, and Contractual Obligation Management,
  • Allocating and monitoring project budgets to maintain financial performance,
  • Reviewing progress and providing strategic direction to the Project Core Team,
  • Enhancing team effectiveness by supporting the application of team effectiveness tools,
  • Identifying and pursuing additional opportunities in collaboration with the Customer Director/Platform.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desired),
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent English),
  • Strong leadership and team management skills,
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements,
  • Availability to travel 25-50% of the time within Canada.
