AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Project Director for Green Hydrogen & Renewables to lead large-scale energy projects from concept through execution.

You will drive multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with partners, and ensure bankable outcomes across lifecycle stages. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, governance, and strong commercial structuring to deliver projects in a fast-evolving energy landscape while maintaining safety culture and quality standards.

Job Description Overview Step into a leadership role at the forefront of the energy transition. As Project Director - Green Hydrogen & Renewables, you will drive the development and delivery of large-scale, innovative energy projects, from early concept through execution and operational readiness. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will collaborate with internal experts and global partners to deliver bankable, high-impact infrastructure that accelerates decarbonization.

Your Role

• Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of utility-scale green hydrogen and renewable energy projects
• Define and implement project execution strategies aligned with business objectives and contractual commitments
• Drive projects toward Final Investment Decision (FID) and financial close while ensuring technical maturity and bankability
• Oversee engineering, integration, and EPC execution across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Manage full project performance including cost, schedule, quality, risk, margin, and cash flow
• Lead negotiation of commercial agreements including PPAs, hydrogen offtake, and strategic partnerships
• Build and lead high-performing project teams while fostering a culture of safety, governance, and continuous improvement
