A post-secondary institution is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage event logistics and provide administrative support for its WCDU Department. The successful candidate will have a business-related degree, three years of event planning experience, and knowledge of First Nations cultures. Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution. Nature and Scope
The Project Coordinator provides event coordination and administrative support for the WCDU Department at SIIT. This position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT's vision, mission, and mandate.
General Accountability
The Project Coordinator works collaboratively with the department and is accountable to manage the logistics involved in the various training, programs, and events held by the department, anticipate project needs, and balance tight deadlines.
Specific Accountabilities
This position is accountable for planning, coordinating and executing events and assisting with initiatives led by the Program Coordinator. The position is accountable to synchronize all logistics involved in the successful completion of projects. This position provides additional support as required and includes the following broad range of accountabilities:

Required Qualifications and Experience: A business related degree or diploma. A minimum of three years of event planning experience is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in a post-secondary institution and knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations would be an asset. Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as travel is required.

This is a full time, term position up to March 30, 2026 (with a possibility of extension).
