Job summary

Axiom Builders is seeking a driven Project Coordinator to support multiple Victoria-area projects and report to the Project Manager. You will manage documentation, coordinate safety protocols, and facilitate communication between clients, architects, and subtrades.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years on-site experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Procore and MS Project to help drive timely project execution and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of on-site construction experience as a Project Coordinator.
• Proficiency in Procore and MS Project.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills.
• Willingness to work on site and contribute to project execution.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, and contract documents.
• Prepare change orders and track contracts change orders and purchase orders.
• Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically.
• Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with on-site and company-wide health and safety protocols and policies.
• Communicate with subtrades to assist in budgeting to ensure they understand their scope of work.
• Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine the most cost-effective approach.

YOUR NEW OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a driven Project Coordinator to join Axiom Builders. We have multiple current and upcoming projects in and around Victoria and looking for strong individuals looking to join a passionate, quality and safety focused team. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to every stage of the construction process. From managing documentation and project systems to coordinating safety protocols and communication between subtrades, clients, architects, and consultants, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to grow into a future Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum one-to-two (1-2) years of experience in construction on-site as a Project Coordinator;
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project and other construction related software will be considered a strong asset;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
• Willing and excited to work on site and be actively involved in project execution.

The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000, adjusted for experience, plus a competitive bonus program. During the interview process, let’s talk to get the right fit for your experience level.
