Job summary

The City of Toronto is seeking a Project Coordinator to organize the technical resources of the Infrastructure section and deliver planning and implementation services for IT infrastructure across various divisional projects. Responsibilities include reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Management Services and supporting budgeting, planning and reporting activities.

Candidates should have experience in IT programs and services, architectures, technologies and products, and be proficient

Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate experience in managing IT programs and services.
• Must show thorough understanding of current and new architectures, technologies and products.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects while leading, coaching and inspiring staff and project teams.
• Proven experience creating business cases, feasibility studies, project charters and plans; supporting budgeting, tracking and variation reporting.
• Familiarity with MS Project to maintain project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate IT infrastructure projects across Internet Security, Cloud Services, Directory Services and Networking.
• Report to the Manager of Infrastructure Management Services; participate in planning, coordination, reporting and budgeting activities.
