Ottawa Project Coordinator

The basic function of the Project Coordinator is to facilitate the ordering, tracking and delivery requirements of all EH Price products. To provide accurate and timely support to the Project Management and Sales team to all stakeholders in the HVAC industry. For this specific position the candidate must be highly organized, responsive, and able to identify possible barriers to timely delivery of products and services for our customers.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include
The following are the principal duties of the Project Manager:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all industry stakeholders (Engineers, Architects, Contractors, Developers, Owners etc.).
  • Control the project fulfillment process in accordance with company goals and objectives.
This Will Include
  • Ability to identify delivery or lead time issues based on project schedule and relay this information to the Project Manager or Sales Person.
  • Review and interpret equipment schedules, drawings and specifications in collaboration with the Project Manager or sales team to ensure project goals and customer service needs are achieved.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing purchase orders in our internal project management system.
  • Provide customers with Installation and Maintenance manuals for project specific products.
  • Select products and produce submittal drawings to support the Project Manager or Sales Person.
  • Stay up to date on the latest product developments and software tools. (Some travel may be involved).
  • Understand import requirements and transit delays.
  • Service the contracting community in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform other duties assigned by your manager.
  • Work as part of a team, with a Customer First approach to business.
The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience related to HVAC related mechanical equipment.
  • A valid passport and ability to travel to the US for product training is required (if needed).
  • Diploma in Engineering Technology is an asset.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam is a strong asset.
  • Understanding of how to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
