About Us

The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project, a joint venture of Aecon and Framatome in Kincardine, Ontario, is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, ensuring safe operation through 2064. The project involves removing and replacing steam generators across multiple units.

The Project Coordinator reports to the Field Engineering Manager and oversees planning, organization, and completion of engineering and construction tasks within the project scope, including developing Construction Work Packages.

What You'll Do Here

  • Create Construction Work Packages
  • Report on project milestones and schedules
  • Control expenditures within the project budget
  • Coordinate project deliverables and documentation
  • Review project designs for compliance
  • Coordinate technical developments and resolve engineering issues
  • Recommend design changes
  • Interface with customers for project updates
  • Monitor safety programs
  • Prepare purchase specifications and manage procurement activities
  • Implement quality assurance policies
  • Assist with estimating and project management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Team

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, SAP)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
