    Marcus & Millichap is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its local brokerage team in Vancouver, B.C. We are looking for people who share our passion for analyzing and interpreting economic, commercial real estate and investment data for key trends, OCP, market projections and subsequently synthesizing it into reports, analyses and presentations in conjunction with our commercial real estate brokers so that investors can use to make better-informed commercial real estate investment decisions.


    Summary:
    • The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading commercial real estate market analytics and intelligence initiatives on a local level to support business development initiatives in the Vancouver office. The Project Coordinator will oversee the gathering, evaluation, and interpretation of various economic and commercial real estate information sources, then translate the synthesized interpretation into a variety of reports, analytics and presentations. This position reports to the Regional Manager in the Vancouver office.
    Responsibilities:
    • Gathers, analyzes and interprets British Columbia commercial real estate and economic data.
    • Leverages a variety of data sources in the B.C. commercial real estate market that can be applied to real estate trends, forecasts and opportunities.
    • Produce regular proposals, reports, analyses and presentations focusing on the performance of, and investment in, British Columbia commercial real estate.
    • May aid in special business development projects aimed at supporting broker and client growth.
    • May provide financial feedback on potential property sales.
    • Conduit to and collaborate with Marcus & Millichap’s Canadian national research to produce specialized local research analysis
    • Source market comps to assist in the production of proposals and pitch book presentations
    • Provide local specific area information and data for social media snippets
    Key skills and Qualifications:
    • In-depth knowledge of local economy and commercial real estate, including apartments, industrial, office, retail and other investment property types.
    • 1+ years of professional analysis experience in commercial real estate or business writing
    • An understanding of commercial real estate analytics.

    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Ability to define and execute strategic plans.
    • Exceptional time management and project management skills, with the ability to lead/oversee multiple large and complex projects, determine priorities and develop a through-line to completion, including harnessing the right resources and collaborating along the way.
    • Apply deductive reasoning to enable the appropriate application of general concepts to specific situations; able to translate theory into research practices and apply experience, skills and information to identify problems and plan strategic resolutions.
    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or Business preferred.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English.
    • Knowledge of all relevant computer platforms, including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office suite, including exceptional Excel skills and comfort with various CRE industry database and analytics platforms, including CoStar, Altus Insights, StatCan and CMHC.
