Project Manager / Coordination - Critical Infrastructure Operations

Reports To : Manager of Implementation Operations

Job Summary : We are looking for a Project Manager to support our client’s Network Operations and Critical Infrastructure. This role involves managing Operations Projects within Facilities. It is a remote, work-from-home position with site visits 1-2 days a week.

The Project Manager will ensure successful project execution, maintain operational readiness, and manage daily performance. The main focus will be small projects and coordination of Operations work such as HVAC system replacement, battery replacement, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure construction invoicing is submitted correctly, on time, and within forecast.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including owners, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Resolve issues or conflicts during construction.
• Prepare and present project status updates.
• Asset Life Cycle Management : Identify and upgrade critical infrastructure systems by developing project plans, schedules, MOPs, and SOWs.
• Preventive Maintenance Management : Manage tasks for critical infrastructure sites, reviewing and updating procedures and scopes of work.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Manage third-party vendors and contractors.
• Provide training to team members and users of critical infrastructure systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Project Management fundamentals.
• Experience with critical infrastructure, Data Center operations, HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of DC and AC power systems.
• Experience with backup power infrastructure (generators, batteries, UPS).
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring systems and protocols.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with space optimization and performance improvement.
• PMP certification.
• P. Eng certification.

Skills

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing workloads.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in and around Montreal 1-2 days a week and outside as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 / hr.
