About The Position

The In-Suite Project Coordinator Co-op is responsible for coordinating the suite renovation and turnover program, including resourcing, project management, analysis, and documentation across our portfolio of multi-residential buildings. The role involves identifying opportunities for project synergies, avoiding conflicts, and ensuring timely project completion through effective communication, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality standards set by the manager.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

  • Define scope of work for each suite with direction from Operations & In-Suite teams.
  • Identify priorities, constraints, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Obtain quotes and necessary approvals.
  • Maintain tracking and analysis documentation.

Implementation

  • Establish and coordinate detailed project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate project execution according to set criteria.
  • Support cost-effective management of project processes, including site access and material handling.
  • Manage internal and external resources to meet project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, approvals, change management, and cash flow reporting.

Evaluation

  • Conduct regular reviews, maintain progress reports, and communicate updates.
  • Assist in cost reduction initiatives.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Enrolled in a co-op program as part of post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in financial reporting is an asset.
  • Motivated, data-savvy individual with an interest in Real Estate, Property Management, and Construction.
  • Knowledge of building systems is a plus.
